About Lady Sandie
Lady Sandie has gained considerable experience developing her art in professional image design since March 1986, from her first franchise business in image consultancy and owner of a fashion and beauty enterprise. In the years that followed she also owned other businesses in promotions, hospitality, public relations and the training of image, style and beauty consultants.
Lady Sandie is a people person, highly conscientious and mindful of meeting the holistic personal and professional image needs with creative business support to her many international clients of fashionable personalities, career-minded individuals, business professionals and entrepreneurs, empowering them in achieving outstanding results!
Lady Sandie developed her expertise by delivering training and bespoke consultancy services to various private, public and voluntary sector organizations in Africa, the Caribbean, Western Europe and the USA.
British born of Jamaican parentage, Lady Sandie became the first black woman in the UK image profession and excelled to the appointment as Director of Public Relations for The Federation of Image Consultants UK. Her profound knowledge of professional image management coupled with her extensive business experience enabled her to conduct strategic business development projects on behalf of her business community as board member of the West Midlands Minority Ethnic Business Forum, vice-chair of Birmingham African Caribbean Business Forum and board trustee of the Community Education Training Academy. She also received several awards for her sales and marketing achievements, including being nominated for the West Midlands Business Professional Award and receiving a commendation for the UK national development of the Afro-Hairdressing Specialism - Training of Trainers from the Ministry of Her Majesty's Government, Department of Employment.
